• Network and System Design

A complete turnkey network and system design process and supporting documentation allow the customer to have a full and comprehensive point of reference for precise implementation.

• RF Designs / Planning and Analysis (Macro, Micro and In-building environments)

By using design and planning tools such as Aircom, Asset, Sagem or TEMS, CobraComms can deliver a complete RF design document or plan for pre-deployment planning.  This can include frequency planning, coverage plots, neighbour lists, RF antenna/cable sizing and dimensioning for Macro, Micro or In-building distributed antennas systems (e.g Britcell, LGC Wireless, Andrew, Eupen)

• System Test / Interoperability

New hardware / software testing and multi vendor product interoperability testing.  Working with various vendor hardware / software from proof of concept to productisation stage and systematic execution of tests plans to ensure successful product quality assurance.

• Integration, Implementation, Installation and Commissioning

CobraComms has vast experience in multi vendor environments for all forms of system integration, implementation and I&C.  This includes the physical equipment and software installation, datafil, fault finding / troubleshooting, acceptance test plan execution on a range of OSS, NSS, BSS, IP and 3rd Party equipment. 

• Network Rollout / Deployment

Providing full turnkey solutions from concept or point of sale through to delivery of a complete operational and functional network.  This can include site acquisition, civil works, planning, staging, implementation, I&C, acceptance and commercial launch.

• Network Optimisation (Performance Statistics Analysis)

CobraComms can characterise the system performance/quality of a network by using tools such as TEMS, Sagem, Aircom or Asset and we can optimise/fine-tune the network by using a combination of drive testing, frequency retuning and performance statistics analysis.

• Site Surveys (RF, Microwave)

This can include line of sight (LoS) surveys for transmission links, RF transmitter/receiver surveys for in-building coverage and Macro base station site surveys.

• Training and Skills Development

CobraComms can construct a specific telecommunications training package to suit the customer’s requirement.

• Project Management

Providing qualified (Prince 2) project/program management staff to manage full turnkey rollouts.  These responsibilities will incorporate a number of skills such as Change control, Q&A, budgeting, P&L, resource planning, design ownership, sub contractor control / management and risk analysis.
